What you will find if you really delve into it is the design of most Stihls The transistion from the crank to the output shaft is radiused rather than a square corner .As such it is a much sronger crank shaft but because of design requires also a radiused internal bearing .Of which specically Stihl owns the entire rights to from every reputable bearing manufacturer in the world .
