Stihl sometimes seems to like to bury the seals using the outer race of the bearing instead of the case for some reason. Which is one of many reasons those models seals and bearings are so danged costly.042/048 comes to mind . 30 plus for the bearing and over 20 for the seal if you can even find them at all .
