Hay guy!
My questions is about a cylinder head that I got here which has scratches and lean seize mark along the cylinder wall. The cylinder has nikasil coating will I be able to polish it back with emory cloth and install new piston and ring? can nikasil coated cylinders be brought back to life or once they scratched or groved they are stuffed? thank you guys! if you all need pics I can get em for ya!

cool! yeah its had a lean seize where the piston was pretty much welded to the head lol. did a bit of reaserch and apparently if nikasil coated then you cant realy do much to it.

Where it matters is on the cylinder wall above the ports.  If there are marks at the bottom of the cylinder or on the piston skirt, you can replace the piston and get right back to work.
