Jim, that is very interesting! Did you see/hear the saw run? Wondering about performance gain and noise level. I would like to come up with a performance increase while keeping the noise down. I've got a couple box mufflers left, if I can figure out a way to make the 'scoops' I'll give it a try. Did you happen to notice how far outside the muffler the pipe protruded?
