Echo decomp plug
« on: August 13, 2024, 07:03:13 am »
Just goofing around to see if I could make a echo decomp plug cheaper then 14 for oem ones.

2 bucks and just a hacksaw and grinder.

You folks with real skills could do it better. M10x1.25.
The aftermarket M10x1.00 there for scale with echo decomp.

I didn’t source a 10mm copper washer local. So used a brass one for now testing.

Works on echo 501 4910 590 600 620

Forgot to update copper washers.

Do not do like some  ::) did and try to put the $2 cheap afm plugs in with wrong thread pitch 1.00. It will ruin cylinder threads for future use. Yes there is  ::) out there that did that.  :D :D :D :D

These saws use 1.25
