I will have to go back and read that thread then as I though the Oregon stuff degraded as well.  If the Echo stuff is holding up then so be it, I'm not tied to any line manufacturer.

Who is this Nate guy you buy from?  It sounds like he's got genuine line and not knockoff ebay stuff, I'd like to go to same place if I can to ensure I'm getting the same stuff.

Hi Cut4Fun,

First, my saw is a Poulan 3400.

I'm finally getting around to this now that weather is nice enough here.  Looking back from when we re-did the fuel line and carb, I was asking Tygon about needing 1/8 ID x 3/16 OD, so that's what would be stock.

Thing is, that site you get your line from has Echo line in mm.  The closest I can see is 3mm by 5mm.  Using Google conversion calc, 1/8 = 3.175mm and 3/16 = 4.7625mm.  My questions are:

1.) If the ID is 3mm and I should have 3.175mm, is that going to be too tight when I put it on carb and vent (duckbill)?

2.) If the OD is 5mm and I should have 4.7625mm, am I going to have to enlarge the tank holes? This isn't a large problem I can always drill it out just wondering if you've ever needed to do this?

For anyone reading this thread, still no mention of Tygon LP-1300 online as of today...

I dont have to do anything different running the 3x5 or even the 3x6 on the newer series poulans.

I have never ran the echo like in the CV 3400 3700 4000 to know for sure. But the later 3000 3300 etc if I recall right uses same size fuel lines and vent line. If so I have no issues using the 3x5 oem echo black line.
Hoped that helped.

Yes, helped.  Of course I waited too long and the 3x5 black is not available.  Going to contact him to see if that is permanent and/or if he has shorter pieces (I need a 12-13" not 26' or whatever it is lol).  If he doesn't have it I'll look on Amazon using his part number...

Thanks again for the help!
