Just saving here too.

Spectrum Oil Co was bought out by Phillips 66 in 2014. http://investor.phillips66.com/investors/news/news-release-details/2014/Phillips-66-Acquires-Specialty-Lubricants-Manufacturer/default.aspx

Here is the MSDS database of all products which they make:
    http://w3apps.phillips66.com/NetMSDS/results.aspx?LanguageFilter=**&MSDSTypeFilter=USDS&SearchValue=%

The current formulation of Husqvarna XP oil shows <10% Polymerized fatty acid ester. The old formula did not have any ester in it.

Red Armor (Shindaiwa and Echo versions) is still showing no ester in the formula according to Phillips 66.

For you Aussies the Jakmax Syn looks good. Same as Makita and Poulan Pro Synthetic. 10-30% ester.

I went thru my price sheets and can only find the common size bottles, 2.6, 5.2, 12.8 oz.

prices arent to bad. doubt i will be trying any though as its more expensive than red armor/makita oils plus the added hassle of getting it.

LOL you have plenty of oils already. ;)  Most I seen for any dealer compared around my local area.

If i ever get around to ordering VP fuels for in the shop you better believe there will be at least a couple cases of VP 2T oil on the order as well but for now my space constraints keep me from stocking the VP fuel simply because of the order volume it takes to get good prices and not get eaten up in shipping costs

When ever you get moved into the new shop. Give me a heads up for a future planned trip.   8)

Just curious with all the oils you have to choose from at your shop. What do you use for your personal saws?

saber @ 50:1 most of the time. dolmar @40:1 the rest of the time.

most of the stuff we sell leaves with a tank of saber. truthfully i think the saber needs run at 60:1 but i am not brave enough to do it.

That surprises me on the Saber. The Dolmar I would run and sell myself.

Seems like the dolmar makita poulan all have the same type of blending going on in that one link posted above.

I am not real particular on the oil as long as its good oil. I wont run or sell the echo powerblend and advise people to stay away from certain others.
