purple power or mean green, spray it on full strength, let it sit 5 minutes, spray off with a garden hose, air hose it dry. works pretty good on all but the worst stuff.

Thats what I have been reading.  Glad to hear you say the same. 

I was thinking of getting a parts washer like my dad used to have.  With that degreaser and brush.  Your way sounds much easier.
