How to Use and Maintain a Chainsaw

How to Start a Chainsaw
Before in operation, your saw, scan the owner's manual to know all the controls and safety options. continuously follow the security recommendations. you'll have to protect clothing:

 Hard hat
 Ear protection
 Eye protection
 Long pants (chaps are a decent idea)
 Work gloves
 Steel-toed boots

Step-1
To start a power saw with a chilly engine, place it on flat ground. Push the chain brake forward till it engages.

Step-2
Pull the beginning / choke management dead set the ON position. Push the decompression valve — if you have got one — and press the primer bulb regarding half dozen times.

Step-3
Always hold the front handle along with your left and place your right foot on the rear handle. Pull the starter along with your paw till the saw fires.

Step-4
Push the choke in and pull once more. once the saw starts, squeeze the throttle quickly to disengage the high idle. to prevent the saw, simply close up the electrical switch.

I guess I would fail these rules. I cut up and hauled off a fairly big hickory that went down at my brother's and when I left he gave me one of those first aid kits you use for gunshots or real bad cuts and said I hope you never need this. I did have steel toed boots on though, hottest day we had this summer. Not too smart I guess.

OK, I thought it was kinda strange a first timer telling us how to use a saw, didn't know about spamming.
