3000FPS may be a good lead, I'm just a backyard welder, not a pro.

Sorry guys I am just  backyard welder like you.   I just happen to have a tig welder and learned how to weld magnesium by trial and error.   I have never silver soldered or brazed anything before.   I am interested in any information you get also.

If you are tight on space they do make some very small bottles for Oxy aceltylene welding and I really do not know if mapp gas would get hot enough to do what you want.
