On that Stihl sells still I think a so called EZ start gizmo . All it is is a compression spring inside the handle .I think the idea is it allows some inertia on a pull over plus it would offer some buffer on a shut down.

Fact Baileys sold a clone at one time .Don't know the politics involved .Either there wasn't any money in it or Stihl being Stihl whined about it as seems to be their mode of operation.Baileys should have made the thing McCulloch yellow maybe instead of Stihl orange .

Couple years back Gregg G sent Bradley David a whole slew of parts of which he brought to Bill Poors GTG . Pistons ,those starters ,just a bunch of stuff .I got several of the small size and hung one on a 200T and sent one to Butch in Louisiana .They work great .
