This 5 minute redneck video called "Hyper racing crankshaft secret" is brilliant. I knew about this back in the 1980's but didn't bother with it. But now that someone explains it properly I sure will now. ;D

He mentioned a fact I had never thought about before,crankshaft flex . Considering this it explains why Stihl used roller bearings on 020 and 200T's .Going father back in time McCulloch used a roller on one side and a ball bearing on the other .Good info and certainly food for thought .
