371/372. with 272 single ring piston
« on: September 24, 2015, 04:26:28 pm »
has anybody tried running a 272 52mm piston in a big bore 52mm 372/371 saw for daily use or modified just wondering if any improvments at all from duel ring setup up to single ring piston swap is it worth it?

You can run just a single ring on a two ring piston if you like. I have a 372 that way.
We should share what we know... someone may learn...

The 272 has a different height from the pin to the top (+1.5mm) and the overall piston length is different from a 372 (-2mm).

064 piston fits with less work. I can't think of any full circle or non windowed 52 mm Pistons right off.

Forgot about that one. Had that in a work saw. Meteor if I remember has wider skirts then OEM.
