Bore stroke chainsaw
« on: February 13, 2015, 12:54:21 pm »
Didnt know where to put this thread as it can be many saws. Just trying to start and saving info.  My memory just isnt retaining crap anymore and I am forgetting stuff quickly.

The guy that relieves me at work on our 24/7 job was made to take a test for Alzheimer already. He is 63 and I was told he flunked it. He is still on the job and just trying to make it to 65 to retire.  Me just in 50's and will retire in the 50's. But I feel like I am slipping already.

Sorry for the BS, but wanted to explain why I want to save info.

Wanting to see stroke and bores for stihl 661 660   husqvarna 394 395    husqvarna 390  288

If my memory is right the dolmar 166 was 56mm bore and 48mm stroke. I used to use oem 394 rings on the 166 pistons.

I was putting it in there (modifying) as you were making your post. We must have found the owner's manual at the same time?

066/MS660 is 54 X 40

Adding to list so I can find them

solo  38mm stroke 665-681

dolmar makita   37mm stroke 6400-7900

husky  36mm stroke 362-375

poulan  36mm stroke 415-505

husky 38mm stroke 181-288

So that should put the 8200 52mm bore and 38mm stroke for 80.7cc

The big Dolmar was supposed to be the longest stroke of any chainsaw engine .
