Al, the 3120 I just built was real basic, no welding, simple port layout and it works quite well. Funny how sometimes the simple hack job saws work so well. Lol

Like I've always said before you'll never really know unless you give it a try .

In my gear head mind I'd have rather tried and failed than always wondering if it could have worked .

Ran the 880 reed motor up at Adams Place in Tuolomne prior to the races with  Big HL tillotson I borrowed from my 2100 and the Saw was acting like it was running out if fuel a 1/3 of the way through the cut. Pulled extremely hard then stumbles. Gonna try a new hl380 and see what happens. Kevin Dunnivan had a similar issue with a Chauncey Varney motor and it turned out that the tillotson wouldn't pump enough alcohol even with the double plumper. He used a gravity fed tank and it works now. I'm having a hard time believing the carb won't pump enough but we'll see...

Hey Neil! Hope you're well! Carbs/fuel delivery seems to be the hard Part!!  How's the racing going?

G'day mate, yes well your the man who can solve that issue, I'm sure you will sort it then look out, I would love to see footage of it running....
Racing has been good this season, I have done a lot since January, I must say but I got my bottom kicked from my QLD mate Will, I came 2nd to him all day last time we raced against each other, that's how it goes I guess, if racing was easy every body would do it.
