Is 1974 right?  I dont follow that far back on the models.

1974 sounds about right without me going into my old Chainsaw Age Mags.
I'll post tomorrow with pics but everything changed for Poulan after 1975 or so when the 4200 and 5200 were introduced.  I think that's when they change to Poulan Weed eater.
