Show me what he needs and if I have it he can have it.
Hi Cut,

You wouldn't happen to have a recoil spool for a 2300cva would you?

Thanks,

Lee

Just so I am thinking same as you. Part number 14? Spring? 530042023

Just trying to be sure or we talking 13 pulley? 530069288

I think I can say yes to both. Thinking the 2000 use the same ones.

Got the spool off Fleebay and all is well.  Another nice home owners saw for sale.  I must say I have a liking for these older Poulan 2300s ;D

Yep.  They're the only 'shell encased' top handle saws that I like.  Definitely a favorite of mine.  My only gripe is the NLA oiler check valve assembly.  It's not made to be serviceable, so some drastic/creative measures must be taken to repair them ifya cannot find a reasonably priced replacement.
