So I put a new spur sprocket on and the drum is locked up tight.  The spur section is about a 1/16" too thick. It is a Stens ,part #085-1097.Poulan #952-048062/952-048091, 3/8"-7.  Silver Streak brand. On the box it says high quality heat treated steel. Of course it's made in china. Anyone have any ideas? Can it be ground ?  TIA.   Chris
I have run into that before and yes I have ground it down.   But like everyone else says I would send it back and get the Oregon.       If you grind it and it still does not work your out the money then.
