Poulan 3350 3500 3600 IPL  http://www.poulan.com/ddoc/POUI/POUI2000_USen/POUI2000_USen__530068641.pdf

Look closely at that IPL and you will see the only thing different between the 3500/3600 and the 3350 is the 3350 used a different P/C , muffler and case. That 3350 P/C is actually the same as the 3300 unplated cyl and plated piston.

I think the closest thing to a 54cc 3500 would be a Poulan Pro 336

Type 1 measured bore 49mm and top end was sweet still. Could see witness lines on piston and single ring.

This one is 60cc as shown in above post.  Doing a happy dance.

Just picked up a pretty nice 3500.
Shep

Shep which saw did you put the bigger intake and bigger carb from  330 3450  3750 on?

Did you see any difference from the bottle-necked  small stock intake and the smaller carb?  I am just wondering if it is more of a porting difference of the 365 3500 compared to the stronger 3750 380.

So is there any direct swap for the intake boot for these 3500,365 saws?  I have a couple that need new boots  I have been thinking about trying one off a 066.

Check into the bigger 330 3450 380 3750 intake.  Still can be bought new too.

I know it goes right on cylinder. I just dont know about the other end if mounting the small carb.

Took a break from the NCAA Basketball tournament and decided to see what I could do with 3500.

All said and done, she lives again  8) :). Maybe a carb kit later on.

Works great.  No problem.  Just did one of my 3500's.
Just picked up 2 3500 P&C's 1-NOS and 1 that could have been.  Had a real nice Black Craftsman 3.3 w/scored cyl. (wide case for small muffler) was going to put one of the 3500 P&C's on it.  Ran into a muffler problem.  The small mufflers don't fit the 3500 cyl.  Bolt hole spacing is narrower on them.  Put it back on the shelf for later had work come in Thur to start on today.  Any suggestions on the muffler?  I've got several extra 3450-3750 mufflers but they won't fit the wide case of the 3.3.

Look at 3450 330 3750 380 mufflers. The 3500 muffler looks just like the 3450 330 muffler to me just looking.

It is but there is one that deflects out of the front with a cover that deflects towars the bar.  Got to do a little investigation but I'm pretty sure I can take a cutoff wheel and cut the wide side of crankcase so the bigger muffler will fit. 2800-3300 PP285-335 use the wide case and the small muffler IIRC.
