Chainsaw Repair

pulled the suspect seal last night. no dice. still tight at TDC.
wondering now if my rings are too tight. didn't measure too tight before installation; actually, I was mad I took too much off.
also wondering if its the piston. it had couple of carbon scours on it that I cleaned up. didn't measure much smaller than jug. don't remember measurements; theyre on my work bench at home.
just gonna put it together and run it and see what happens. if nothing else i'll have some extra parts.
