Thats a easy muffler to remove.  Should be a outer cover bolt going through both halves, then bolt holding on back half.

The cover just needed a light tap to get it off. I don't think this 2300 has seen much use. Not the slightest bit of discoloration on the piston or in side the cylinder.

These 2300 do have some attitude! Good simple little saws to work on as well.
