Seems some are spreading wrong bore mm info.

Here is my concrete info from saws I have owned and some worked on.

490 44mm closed

590 45mm closed

325  46mm closed early, later 46mm open

55 46mm open and 45mm closed

5000 44mm open

5000+ 44mm closed

500 44mm open

500 formula 45mm open

I have a 325 with a 44mm CP. I certainly can't saw it is original, but it definitely had been on the saw for a long time.

325 came with 46mm. You can put 44 45 46 on them with no problems.

I'm glad you posted this because I was under the impression that the PP 325 came with a 45 CLOSED early and a 46 OPEN in later production.

I guess if they had a 46 closed in the early stages, that would be the Holy Grail of those cylinders.

My type 1 325 is closed 46mm 53cc.   Mark might have a like new type 1.

Just to clarify I havent opened a type 2 325 up.

 I have only seen the type 2 replacement p+c you can still buy that is open port with solid piston that looks like a 55 husky 46mm also.

This is the replacement cylinder for 325      503609102   the old part number was  503538502   hopefully I didnt confuse those.
