Roger I cant remember the model or name of the one you have in red.  Also the grey and the black 3.3

Just noticing the many variations of this small 3 cube size 54cc saw.

335 chrome bore, 2 thin rings

3300 bare bore, 1 thick ring 1.5mm

red ? ? chrome bore, 1 1.5mm ring  3450  330 piston

grey 3.3  bare bore, 2 thick 1.5mm rings

black 3.3 chrome bore,  (cant remember rings) anyone?


Per fossil Poulan pro 336 Bare piston, chrome bore and two thin steel rings. Comp is at 175 psi

I have a Poulan 335 predator that is red.   It has a piston similar to the Poulan 3450.
That would be one thick ring on the piston.

I was surprised to see 2 thick 1.5mm rings in a fellows grey 3.3 bare bore the other day.  I thought for sure only 1 ring like a 3300.

Did the black 3.3 chrome bore have 2 thin like 335 or 1 thick like 3450 or did they have 2 thick maybe?

I have never been inside a chrome bore 3.3.   I would have to look up the IPL and see and that is one I do not have an IPL for.

Hey Kevin, 1 thick ring on the black 3.3. Real nice saw, I am going to try and get it buttoned up tonight. Sorry for not checking in as often as I should, haven't been spending a whole lot of time on AS or SH either.

The black craftsman is then like the red predator 335 with 3450 piston.    Cool
