Here is my full size 20" 3/8 70DL GB pro top bar in K041 mount.  Notice this 20" 3/8LP bar in A041 isnt smaller at all (narrower) in mount area and just hair shorter and narrower in belly.

The 70DL full 3/8 bar is right near the rim like they should be IMO, not way far away like that 18" 68DL chain pic.

Thinking I will make a 68DL and 70DL chain.

Full 3/8 white bar part number shown for anyone looking for these. Nice dang bars with replaceable sprocket tip.

Well I just did a duh. I forgot to try the 68DL loop on the pp260 with the 6T.

On the pp365 with 7T the 68 was to short.  So I broke it added 2 DL to 70 and IMO 70 is to long. So 69DL with 7T would be just right.

Working on pics

The 260 is setting to the right of the bar tip of the 365 in this pic. I'm such a moron to forget to test fit it too.

LOL, I do stuff like that all the time - once I get going I'm on a mission and forget the other stuff I wanted to do.

So the 20" bar with 70DL was out too far?  But that was with a 7T?

The pic is 70DL and 7T.   IMO 69DL would be perfect with 7T.

I showed the owner of the pp260 the difference in the 20" and 18" bar lengths. He realized it isnt all that much longer. So I made him a loop PS3 in 62DL for the 18".

Told him to call me if the tree is more then he can handle cutting up.   ;D

I have a mess of 3000/3300/3.3/PP335 saw stuff coming my way.  Will likely be able to build two or three runners out of it.  Will run LP on at least one of them.  I'm no fan of .325, and would rather run 3/8 and 3/8-LP on everything (except the big 'uns that I run .404 on)...
