Aftermarket small poulan intake boot
« on: March 26, 2016, 03:55:58 pm »
New small poulan aftermarket intake boots are done.  https://store.chainsawr.com/products/poulan-2700-3300-chainsaw-carb-adaptor-intake-boot-530-027218-new-87-44-100

I been hinting about them for awhile now  after sending Scott some to  get specs for them to be made. I have one of the new aftermarket in hand and look good.

They look great IMO. Only thing I noticed was inside area where it is mushroomed some and not as smooth as the oem inside where the 2 areas meet. I tried to show in the 2 inside area pics.

I see now.  Maybe that can be trimmed and cleaned up some.

The outside left over flash = yes on trimming. The inside mushroom of 2 areas attaching it appears to me I wouldnt try messing with.

I would take a small drum sander on a dremel and remove that and make it smooth.
