you only use the screw for the small puller which is alot deeper than the others. my head is full of cobwebs this morning. the lady had to drive home last night and it was ordered through a poulan shop.

of course, none of the ends have the part number on them

you might be right about the fine thread one. and i remember you having a saw apart and asking about it. i never have had one of those down far enough to even notice the gear, never had to do the crankseals on one. but maybe, just maybe i'll get lucky enough to have one come through here someday. never have had a saw open to use it yet....
