HAAAAAALLOOOOOOOOO OUT THAAAAR!
had a couple days out with the 2800 this week. friend ended up with a 3/4 ton truck and trailer of ash and elm (the stinky swamp stuff) and some poplar. most of it was about 10-14", dry as a popcorn fart, and somewhat dirty. we ended up pointing the pressure sprayer at it for an hour (after we gotsed that running), then throwing a bunch in his jig.
blah blah blah long story short. the saw is quite a bit stronger. it's almost right there with my 46cc 346. has more torque than the 346 or as before, which i find funny as you usualy loose torque when going to a bigger carb. maybe these are just way under carbed from the get go.
on a side note. my trusty old and very used 346 started to starve for fuel today. if you were cutting stuff up to 4"-5" it was fine. it was doing it when i was bucking some 10" poplar out back today. time for a looksee.
i'll try to get some vid of the 2800 in some of that same poplar tomorrow if it doesn't rain.
i'm so far quite happy with the outcome. gonna havta get me more of them bigger boots.
