Nice!

Your gear puller looks way different then the one I use (is this one  a combination of 2 tools you've put together)? Does it work on 330 365 3750 etc oiler gears too?

Gear puller I'm using bottom left.

i was going to order one over the interweb, however it was going to cost more for the shipping than to get it localy. and the thing about this husky one, all i need to do is order the sheaves (6 bux each) and can take any and all gears off. i have 4 of them and haven't had a problem finding the right one to do the job.

Thats what I was wondering about that puller you had.

So you can put different worm gear pullers on the end?  Could you show more on this please and maybe part numbers etc if handy.

the other ones look the same, just the pitch and diameter are different. they're all husqvarna numbers. for life of me i can't find the paper i had with the part numbers ::) i do that alot.
i'll keep looking, it has to show up. i gots some other "important" info on that notepad that i need
the one in the pic (of course) is for the 50,51 and 55. and as you see it fits others.
the biggest one i have is for the older huskies (L 65 etc.) and i think it will also fit the 1100-2100's, but haven't confirmed that personaly.
the smallest one is for the little 36-41 etc.
the first one i ordered was originaly for a 394 i was working on, but it came in as the wrong one and didin't fit. no idea what it's supposed to fit as i haven't ran across the chance to use it. same diameter as the 50-55 tool, just alot finer threads. no idea what the p.n.# is for that as it was a few years ago when i got it. you order the 'shiny silver' part seperatly, and just add the black parts.

I have found my coarse 330 one to fit the coarse 490 worm gear.  I am wondering if your fine thread one fits the fine worm gear on 490 and 5000.

I'm interested in the part you are attaching the black worm gear pullers to? The silver part what is it any clue? I can find the black threaded part, just never seen the silver part they attach to.
