Chain catcher PP 475
« on: April 27, 2016, 10:32:16 am »
Anyone have a picture of the chain catcher on a Poulan Pro 475? The IPL makes it look like a small J or L shaped metal piece. My saw seems to have a small plastic nubbin in it place and it is quite chewed up so I don't know if its original or even correct.

Yes, thanks.

Mine doesn't look anything like that. Probably a cob job by the previous owner.

Looks like my saw is set up to use a catcher like a Husqvarna 268/272.  Don't know if the recess would accept the aluminum catcher, so I went searching. Found a couple of the plastic style cheap on the internet.
