Chainsaw Repair

Did you get the information you need? I have a 3.3 apart with the original manual that has the IPL in the back.   The model I have is 358.351200 or 1201.  Cylinder # is 530012367 and cylinder is stamped 028768,  Piston kit is # 530069547.  Just found the receipt in the manual $269.99 3/05/97.
                     

I picked up 2  3.3's "nonrunners" from a guy for 30 bucks over the summer. All together between the 2 there were many things broken- top cover was melted on one, carb was bad on the other- broken end of low inside - what a waist of a carb, broken clutch cover.  But, In the end I was able to piece together a really nice saw.   The one with the bad carb was in a little better shape than the other so I use that as my base saw - probably run much less.

The one with the pictures is the one with the burnt plastics- just took it apart rest of the way to see what made it tick. Now-  I have some back up parts. 

No I dont Aaron. That saw was offered to me for $115 to my door ready to go.  I was searching my old contacts for 3.7 and came across this and another sears best chainsaw 3.3.

Still not what I am wanting. But found a 3450 green tank like I have for $100 to my door.
