Chainsaw Repair

While bench #1 has 3 waiting on parts. Decided pull another of mine from the to do list. Put this one on bench #3.

Working on a 54cc I picked up to have parts back up for my other one I just love for my 3 cube size saw. Only thing it is a runner. Chrome bore 3.3.

Pulling all the yellow no name lines, fuel, vent, impulse and will be using echo black lines.

Glad I checked the muffler etc. Had some blockage from a wore heat shield and washers used on wrong bolt inside muffler.

Really like this series of saws, just picked another 2800 that's on the "to do" list..... about a month or so ago I did a gasket delete and complete go over of a Sears labeled 3.3, it really is a strong runner....front saw on the left in the pic.....

Did you happen to check the piston and bore on the gold lettered gold label black craftsman?  Seems some of those have been chrome and bare bore.

Finished up another one of my own projects.
Bought it as a back up for parts to my other one last year. Butttttt she didnt take much to make her a good one sooooo I couldnt resist .

Very nice, I wish I could find more of the good poulan local , I'm kinda wanting a 3450 size with the big carb

All 3450 3750 380 330 come with big intakes and big carbs. Carns will be 164 and some 137

I have a like new 3450 here right now.  Came with the 137 carb = needs a kit in it still. Put another carb on it to test with. But pulls 180psi stock with gasket in.   Piston still has crisp witness lines.
Still need to check and see if it reads that high. Never seen one of these pull that stock.

Also have 2 NOS 380 3750 60cc p+c kits. I had to pay retail for at a dealer that he had left over from when his dad was a poulan dealership.

2 Sundays in a row haven't been able to pick this one up. Talked to owner last Sunday and no answer this Sunday to call text email. Oh well no biggie here.
