This is good information to keep in mind as I have some saw combinations that violate the size of the bar mouth relative to the sprocket diameter.

Not on Poulans but on Dolmar, Husqvarna, and Stihls.

So far, I have not had any trouble with them, but I know the potential is there.

When you are setting up a chainsaw, it is a good idea to be observant of the size of the mouth of the bar relative to how the chain flows onto and off the sprocket.

Most of my problems are running 8 pin rims on setups intended for 7 pin rims.
