Shoot forgot to get pic of the sign the wife gave me yesterday.

Oh well pics of the craftsman. Oiler worked great from what I saw on the b+c.

Trying to show the bad. Washers at AV areas x2.  Missing presence lever. on/off not working. carb needs rebuilt. missing af cover bolt.  needs new fuel line run. Dont think I forgot anything.
Like I said earlier in thread I allowed $20 trade in. Thats all I want back plus shipping.

If you dont take it. I was going to throw a 12" and use as is with the 1800 carb on it. But if you want it I'm putting one that needs the kit.

Noticing that last pic. Must have had a throttle lock with that presence lever that is missing in the back of handle.

Back in the 90's I had some Mac's that the operator presence lever didn't release the trigger so I took them apart and cut the tabs off with my pocket knife. They looked untouched on the outside. But I didn't have any more trouble with them.

I bought a used Husqvarna 372 that someone had removed the operator presence lever. I bought a Woodland Pro aftermarket one to go in the hole. I had to work on the aftermarket lever half a day with a file and had it in and out of the handle many times before I got it to function correctly. It was more of a problem with it being too thick. To see and use the saw, you would never know it today.

I have another 372 that the operator presence lever doesn't lock the trigger but I only use it at GTG's so I haven't fixed it. It was that way when I bought the saw.

Glad I still had this ole craftsman poulan 2300cva on the shelf today.

Guy wanted it over the poulan 295 and echo 3900.  On a budget and set him up with new oregon 16" bar and new windsor 50R chain.  Plus gave him a used back up chain.

He left happy and I guess that is all that matters.

Just priced the oregon bar 160SDEA041  $28 and a new chain online $12 before shipping.    Thats what I was figuring the bar and chain was the cost of the saw itself.   :P

All I care about is mo $ for ammo. ;)

I put a like new air filter and different fuel cap on it too.

Had this saw come back in craftsman 2300cva awhile back with the carb kit gone stiff. What I figured after testing in front of him and Jim when they were here back then.
He traded up to a craftsman 3.0 49cc with the 3/8LP set up. He loves this saw and set up.

Anyhow this has just been setting on the shelf. Today I pulled it down put in a carb kit. Runs as should again.

Noticed when putting bar oil in while it was on its side the bar oil would come right out on the bar side when filling up. Guessing the vent deal missing? Didnt look.  :-\

Filled up with mix and where it passes through the tank the shrinkage of tubing it now leaks when full.   :P

On/off switch dont work. I just used choke.   ::)

Threw a old 18" bar and chain on it and test cut with. Going to be a loaner saw. ;)

Here you go.   ;D

I think what you are seeing is stock.  Mine are like that. Opps! I was looking at the green saw not the grey one.  You are correct.

LOL looked into why bar oiled poured straight through. The oil line had crumbled and fell out. Pulled the oil deal in case ran new tygon line through for a oil line.

Went ahead and put a new fuel line too. Do to leaking around it tank hole where it had shrunk. Went with the echo 3mm 5mm line.

So carb kit, oil line, fuel line ready to send this loaner saw to sale or loan.
