I had past on a 445 on feebay at one time. Is that the one you got 3000?

Thanks Niko.    8)

It is probably the same one.   It had a few minor things that needed attention but over all a good saw.  The piston and cylinder were in excellent shape.   I put a 24" bar on it and the saw runs very well.  I have not done alot to it other than clean it up some and cut some wood.   I am very happy with it.

I am not a collector either in the true sense.  There are certain saws that I like, and think that I would use, and so I go after them.  For instance with the Poulans, I prefer the yellow saws over the green ones.    I also have some Dolmars, Jonsereds, Husqvarna's and a couple of stihl's.  They are all saws within a certain size and year of manufacture that I believe would be practical for me to use.  Price is the other big determining factor for me.  If you decide to let a 475 go once you get tired of it keep me in mind.

Looks to me like the PP475 was around in at least 1990. Was listed in this 1990 Poulan Pro brochure.  ;D
Unfortunately I can't seem to upload the file. 4.04 mb. Too large..

That was a really cool brochure.

I was just in my documents and I forgot that I had downloaded a file that Modified Mark had put out that listed the dates that most of the models were introduced.  I looked up the 475 and it said 1989.

There is no guarantee I can get it to embed on this site.  But I will try.

I tried to embed the other poulan one in pdf today as direct link and I failed again.  ::)

I made the attachment space big enough to upload here with link.  Once uploaded the links would read error. Just puter stuff thats over my head.

I just wish I was as good on puters as one POS in this world had gave me credit for once upon a time.
