Someone has finally bought the poulan pro 445 topend for $90 I have been watching for better of 10 months.

You dont know how many times I had it in my parts list to buy and delete it before parts purchase.  Just didnt want it setting on my shelf unused forever.

I would not imagine those would come up very often for sale.
PP 505, 475, 445.

Trust me it was always in the back of my mind.

If mine wasnt like new topend or didnt have one I would have snagged it from the get go.

Only seen 4 complete saws of  the PP445  now and this top end and parts. So 5 sort of.

I see it is a Gilardoni - what kind of transfers does it have?

Quads and already opened at bottom like guys do when opening up 372 cylinder.

Nice, but that's what I expected - so I assume that the power is quite close to the 76.5cc top ends of the 7700, 2077 and 475?

The transfers looks a bit narrow though, so I don't really know...

In case someone doesn't know, the PP445 is the same saw as the Partner P710, and 70.7cc.

I like the 445 70.7cc better then my 475 77cc  505 82.5cc if given the choice of a saw to pick. This is JMO.

I don't find that odd at all!   ;)

...but this thread really should be in the Partner forum as well as here, as that was the original brand..... ;D

....and remember that all those saws were made at the Husky factory in Sweden, but there was no orange version of any of the models.

That is an interesting point that they made some of these models in Poulan and Jonsered but not in Husqvarna.
