Chainsaw Repair

I picked up the powerhead at a garage sale many years ago, was new in box, Ive cut with it once. I decided to play with it today, and I pulled the cover over the carb and noticed it does not have an air filter. Really not even sure what holds it in place. Let me know if I need to post a pic of the "hood" removed.

Saw runs, good, I hope I didnt trash the $ on that bar and chain    not sure how I missed it not having one before I bought a bar and chain for it. The saw was almost free at the garage sale, but the bar and chain where not.

Any help with ID on this saw, or part number (for an air filter if one is still even available ?) or anything that can point me in the right direction ? Guessing its from the 1980s ?

Poulan micro with power sharp feature. I only remember seeing that on the older ones.  Roger, Aaron, Tim, Mike and other poulan guys what about you? Maybe I just dont remember.

Yep.  Early 1980's production Poulan 2000 (in the Micro series) with PS.  I have a 2300AV/PS from around the same time period.  You can look up your saw on the Sears www.partsdirect.com website.  Find the 358.xxxxx model # on the saw and look it up on that site. 

The Sears part numbers are usually the same as the Poulan part numbers.  When looking up those parts on Ordertree.com or one of the other Poulan/Husky parts outlets (such as your local Husky dealer) you'll just have to add 5300 to the front of the Sears numbers.  Some dealers can look up Poulan part #'s using the Sears 358.xxxxx model # as well.

Make sure you do NOT use the PowerSharp stone on that conventional chain.
