Roger what was that deal with one of yours having the wrong seal in it?  Does it look like that deal on this 475 pic above?

hmmmm

Noticed the 425 445 505 crankshaft has a different part number then the 415 475 crankshaft.  Wonder now.

When I originally got my 475 it had the wrong seal on the PTO side and it was starting to leak.   Also I discovered the bearing were starting to lock up.   So I split the case and installed new bearings and seals.

When I get that bare 475 crankcase I will try out the newer oiler wing gear on it.

Yes I have used a 066 piston and many others have too in the 505 2083.  All you have to do is widen pin bosses.

066 is in my wildthing 505.

Not from a memory reading a post  ;). Done it, a 066 piston in a 505.  Ron did the 066 piston in a 2083 here too.

You can cut and make a husky 272 268 etc fit.  In thread here where I did one and Roger.

2077 2083 415 425 445 505 475 all fit yours.

Came across better pics.

Using 272 268 266 61 66 etc  for make do covers.
