That's it.  Piston kit will include the ring.  2300 should be plated piston.  2350 should be plated bore.  That's the reason for the two different part numbers.  Going cutting now.

I tried my trusty Jack's Small Engines for the piston kit and it was a bust.  See attached.  :'(

Ordertree I think is who moves poulan parts for poulan and others.  If NLA there you have to find NOS or used. http://www.ordertree.com/partfinder/results/?pn=530069553+

I have a running 2300cva grey craftsman that needs a carb rebuild. I pulled a good carb from a 1800 to test it and thats all it needs besides some rednecking someone did with washers on av.  Could pull parts needed P+C or sell you whole saw needing carb rebuilt or trade for something.

The 2350 is the chromed cylinder, the 2300 is the bare aluminum cylinder according to Poulan's cylinder application chart.

I continue to appreciate all the responses & ideas.  Thanks also to Cut4Fun for his offer to sacrifice one of his saws for parts.

I found a new cylinder at Jack's Small Engines for $75.  (See attached.)  Yikes!

As for the piston kit, OrderTree was a bust (just like Jack's); see attached.

The best source for for the piston kit was that ebay link: $36

So, the new piston kit + cylinder gets me up to at least $111 for parts alone. As I suggested in an earlier post - I'm close to a new saw!  :-\

Can do better on cylinder and piston kit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Poulan-Cylinder-Kit-Part-530012065-530011861-530014228-/181270038398

MAKE SURE THIS IS RIGHT FOR YOUR NEEDS. Only the cylinder number matches up.  ???
