Chainsaw Repair

Well its been 2 years since I looked at this thing just didnt get to it  so Pulled it out and took it too work and during my lunch breaks got access to a lathe, firstly I cleared the rest of the helicoil away and looked  closer and yes the hole for the helicoil had pierced the oil tank.
So i gather it was leaking out of this hole Firstly I redrilled the stud hole then tapped with 11 mm tap then I turned a bit of solid aluminium to 11mm and threaded this i then drilled it and tapped  a 5/16 thread so virtually made a nut within a nut
 but before I used it I tried another method by using a piece of steel this time I threaded it to 11mm then turned the front section down and threaded that to 5/16 x 18 and screwed the whole assembly in as a stepped stud I will remove and loctite it before using but first I have to find the chain brake/clutch cover and bar and chain spent 2 hours tonight looking and cant find it probably buried way under a pile of crap but at least I finally fixed the stud
