I think it is A the small line that has the filter on it.   When you pump the primer bulb you should see fuel in the line returning to the fuel tank.   That line has no filter which means the other line going into the tank does have a filter.

Pretty sure the filter goes on B.  A goes to primer.

Fuel lines shown is correct on a running saw above. A does not go to primer. It is as shown.

Just cant remember which line had the fuel filter at end inside tank. All my saws like this are gone.
I thinlk it is B that gets the filter inside the tank.  The pic is confusing as A appears to go into the tank beside B but it just loops round behind the carb. A is the return line from the purge effort.

Does the new strato poulan 3314 have this set up?  I just got one in the other day and can check the A B routing.

my WAG A   correct me if I am wrong someone. been awhile now and memory not sharp.

Confirmed now.

Like me and Roger said.

A is attached to fuel filter.

B is the return line from primer back to tank.

Just working on a 2150 and the filter was on B although line A was also long enough in the tank to be the fuel line. Line B in my saw had a joiner on the line just inside the tank as if it was acting as a seal pulled up into the line opening in the tank case.  P&C good on the 2150.  I find these to be better saws than the later ones. The IPLs are useless.

I also picked up a Stratos saw at the same time but it runs so I can just follow the existing lines

I hooked up the fuel filter to line A the small line coming out of the left side of the tank into the top connector on the carb. The lower carb connector went to the short nipple on the primer bulb. Then the larger hose from the longer nipple of the the primer bulb goes back into the tank on the right hand side. With this setup pumping the primer bulb was sucking fuel into line A through the filter and returning it through line B with no filter and it runs perfect.

leec Line B coming from the primer to tank has that joiner. It is suppose to end there inside tank. No line attached. Someone used the wrong side IMO.

I was wrong.  Fuel line is A the smaller of the two lines and the filter attaches to it.   My saw had the filter on B so no wonder it would not run.  Also thanks to the photos I got the carb linkage back on correctly.  Just need to find the right size lines in my swag and it will be done.  "An other fine mess you've gotten us into Ollie"

Thanks for the help!
