Congradulations on the saw Leo.  I have a 306A that will vibrate the heck out of your hands but I still get a kick and a big grin when I run it.  I guess because of the age and looks of it.  Have fun with your saw.

I'm sure one of those poulan collectors will trade for it.     Did you pick up the TA and S25DA while you were that way?

A little fresh gas and its a nice little runner, I will be rebuilding the carb for sure.  It will be getting tore down after I get my 3 3500s rebuilt.  It feels very good for a 73cc saw, its not to heavy and I like the control set up.

3500 should be just like the pp365 in the cut. 660mag has had a 3500 since new.

I think I remember now reading something about that.  I just forgot.  Thanks for reminding me.

I am now the proud owner of the above saw, no I have not inspected it and no i have not taken any pictures. I probably will not keep this old gal forever, its not really my thing.  Maybe trade it off for some newer model.... time will tell.

A 245 is on my short Poulan wish list (hint, hint) along with a 4200 or 4400.
I'm a chainsaw hoarder & tinkerer.  The brand isn't usually important,  if the price is right I'll probably buy it.

If I decide to get rid of it your second in line behind Aaron, I would consider a trade on a 3750 or a 380 maybe........

The 245SA has a .325 pitch while the 245A has a 3/8 set up which is IMO better for these saws with the torque they have. As for the weight of these saws, poulan set a bench mark at 73/74cc and in the 13lbs range that is better than any mid 70cc saw sold today. These saws running correctly and not wore out will surprise the heck out of anybody. OhioGregg has a video of his 245A in a piece of hard oak that is very impressive IMO.
