grey 3.0 49cc I have is the bare bore version of the 3000. 305 is the poulan pro version in yellow 49cc.  The 54cc tops from 335 3.3 craftsman poulan 3300 can also be put on these. Just so you know.

Yep.  To further confuse things there was indeed a grey/black Craftsman 3.0ci 49cc saw (that really was 49cc) in the newer 2800/3000/3300/etc saw series.
