Poulan 335
« on: September 12, 2012, 10:28:23 am »
I see there has been new interest in the NOS saws floating around in the PP 335 and 305.

Here is a 335 I used to own with thin rings and type 1.

One thing I like about the 335 is that it seems to be more compact then some of the other models that Poulan has in the 54 cc range like the 3450, and 330.  I do not know how it compares weight wise because I have never weighed any of them.
PP 505, 475, 445.

They 335 3300 are on the poulan 3000 305 platform.  I like the 54cc on the smaller size saw too.

Even though I have and have owned  each listed I have never weighed them either.

Those deals you guys are getting on the NOS 305 and 335 are smoking.  8)

They are an amazing little saw.
A guy can open a LOT of the "saw snobs" eyes with one.
I seem to be getting quite the collection of them now.
I need to find a really good deal on 16" bars for them.

Amen on that.  Started my Poulan collection in this series this year.  So far PP285,330,3000 Craftsman, 3300 Craftsman, Sears Best 54cc, 2-3500's.  This is from memory may not have all the #'s right.  Out of series a real nice 3800.  The 330 was a parts saw very very low hr. owner missed the bar adjuster pin and busted the oil tank behind the adjuster.  Will repair it with some Loctite 99913 epoxy.  EHP says it's beter than JB.  Should be an easy fix.  Need a few other parts to complete it.  I'm REALLY liking these saws.  Light nimble and excellent power.
