Mark I hope you seen that green 3000 that came down yesterday. It went real cheap.

I would have but I'm all tapped out with saw buying right now. :(

I'm tapped too  :'( or I would have bid on both.  Been wanting to pick up some of these since I sold my PP305.  Did get a 2800 cheap the other day.  My saw money is going to be nonexistant for a while.  :'( I have to get rid of some and finish about 20 in the project pile.  Then let the buying commence. ;D  Got to have some of these saws.  PP305 was my first one of these.  Pretty impressed with it just couldn't turn down a buck and a half.  Only have emotional attachment for 1 saw (my Dad's 44 Husky).

Again, I seen it but kinda spaced it off. I think I had the opening bid on that one.

I have been looking for a super clean Green 3000 but that one was on the bubble as condition but I should have scooped it up for that.

Like Shep said I have been a little on the light side with saw funds right now as well.

I did make a trade for a newer super shape big saw mostly with the idea of it going to a local tree guy, but I have not heard back from him yet. If not it will be on the block to build the saw fund back up some.  ::)

Mark be glad you didnt get that 3750. Totally misrepresented saw  :o :o :o :o :o. Not as described.

I'm tearing it down for a rebuild now as I am still going to keep it instead of sending it back.  Crankcase had been grinded on to allow for the bow bar, not just the plastic bar cover. Piston and cylinder had some scoring with ring stuck. Plastic top cover was melted away all around the muffler. Thats just in the 2min look over out of the box.
Hope bearings and seals are good to go.

It's a shame what some people will do to a good saw.

Now that other 3750 is fighting back some. The cylinder cleaned up great not noticeable at all and the piston has some noticeable carbon type marks but nothing to hang a nail on at all, even used old ring, it was just stuck (carbon IMO). Holds 150psi cold.

Need carb kit being it's not pulling fuel and runs on mix squirted in carb.

Ran new fuel line and had to install a new impulse nipple in carb HDA ( because plastic part of nipple was broke off in line) from a 066 carb had laying around. Will run new impulse line when carb removed this time.

For the life of me I cant find the tank vent on this one.  :-[ :-[  Another day.

My memory is not real clear on the tank vent is on these. Been so long since I had my Super 380 apart. Be the same saw as the 3750.  Its kinda hidden and on the left side as I recall. Like behind a plug or screw or something. LOL   Not much help I know. As I recall, it will use the usual duckbill valve that Poulan uses on many of its saws.

One other thing that might help. I think you have to seperate the tank/handle from the engine/crankcase section to get to it. >:(    It is shown on the IPL's for both the 3450/3750 and 380.

Gregg got any pics of a super 380 to show? Never laid eyes on one.
