Just shipped a NIB Makita 6100 in factory box FedEx to Scott Kunz aka TreeMonkey NC to WI $52.00 w/$600.00 ins. Not happy!
Shep

That sounds like ups here. Have you always used fedex and have they went up?  They were normal priced here Mon still.

Wish I had a stock 6100 local to throw in the mix sat.

Always done FedEx.  If it wouldn't cost me $50.00 I'd send you one. I have 4. 2 Blue, 1 badged Dolmar red & 1 badged Makita red.

I traded some parts with a guy in Oregon recently, I'm in Canada.
I sent my parts by ground with Canada Post, no insurance with a $ 1 value as a gift. Cost me $15 US.
My Oregon trading partner send his parts by Fed Ex. No insurance, no value as a gift. Behind his back (so he says) Fed Ex put a $100 value on it, and classified the Stihl 066 parts as US origin of manufacture. A few weeks later after I get the parts Fed Ex sends me a customs/duty bill for $40. My trading partner never got a bill.

Now Kevin all the parts I had UPS sent from you and others like Chainsaw Lady  I never got a customs bill.
So must be a difference between the 2 country postal systems and Fed Ex....or maybe Trump recently had something to do with it, lol.

Willard I send stuff to you and anywhere out of US by way of USPS not ups.   Just so you know. ups is the brown truck folks down here.

I wont ship outside US using fedex or ups. I know they have fees they add for up there.  Only USPS to you from me.

Think I will go check the tune on the PP380 since it didnt seen right in the big wood test we did over weekend and see how it does in the cant with same chain. It is a test saw that is being run with a minor scored piston and new ring. 590 owned the 380 3750 in big wood. But the 3750 turned the tables in the small ash log. So see how the 380 does.

590 scored piston 140psi  Before with carb stops removed.  3.25 2.94 2.90
After muffler mod.   2.84 2.78 2.75

380 still not running right after tuning. Has run on.   2.47 2.79 2.72

Got a used 60cc topend in.  Betting the sides of exhaust outlet is 1/4" blocked on both side.  The ring was all carboned up in groove too.  Wonder what oil and how rich they were running the poor saw.

Will get pics in a bit.

Any poulan Tim Allen BadBoy collectors needing a 22" bar for their TA BB saw? I dont want to run this screen printed one figuring someone may want it for looks on their saw. Its used in good shape and the printing on it is what is left. Both sides shown. Open to trades or sell outright.
