Need some info if you know. The ring on 3750 380 365 if my measurement of worn ring is correct and bore of cylinder are correct. Is it 49mm bore by 1.5mm ring?

If so that would mean a stihl 039 MS390 and one of the stihl cut off saws, husky 460 570 would also work if I had one on hand.  Am I thinking right here?

What is the bore on 330 3450? Smaller I know, but what mm.

Here is a video, if I can get it to show...LOL  I did probably year & half ago. Someone asked me how the 3700 & 380 compared. 61 & 60cc.  Well, I did this 3 times, and each time the 3700 is faster. Not a great deal, but it has more low end grunt & is stronger I believe.  The 380 has much more time on it since then, it is my "light weight" saw.  ;D

Nice and Thanks for the comparison, 3700 380.

I only have a 4000 and know my 3750 is no comparison there IMO. 4000 has the torque that I say is missing a tad on the 3750 (wish it had that kind of torque). Glad you had a 3700 to show us a even comparison.

I think me and w8ye is going to hook up soon and run the PP365 3500 3750 330 3450 soon with same  chain. Dont know about us doing a video though, but might take a stop watch. Will see on video. Hmmmm could throw a 362xp in the mix. I know they wouldnt touch the 365 special.

I know my PP415 ate my 362xp after the 362 fresh rebuild. Now I wish I would have done the PP415 and 365SP when I had 2 of the 365SP. Heck could have thrown 4000 in that one.

I've had a 475 project I been collecting parts for for awhile now. Just dont see any reason to be in a hurry with it since I have a running PP415 and PP505.  8)

Is that the one you welded back on?  Stuff like that makes you sick and mad.  Esp. since it was totally avoidable.  Bought three parts saws 261Husky among them.  Guy threw all three in the box no packing broke the ear off the 261 above the ID tag.  Not a real big deal BUT!

Nope different saw, that was a 415 another guy welded on after tree won the fight with him. (weld area he did not hold and just fell apart and the welded area just crumbled  and left a hole in area). I bought it from him as a box of parts and thought hmmm I wonder if. That same 415 was ran at the poulan gtg.

My redneck 415 fix looks like it will hold longer and stronger then the weak metal area on those crankcases.

wy8e, I have PP365 back in my possession.  I'm still not caught up around here getting ready for winter yet.

Maybe sometime during the weekdays before Thanksgiving or after?

Have you ever ran a Partner 550? If it dont get picked up before test runs we can throw it in if you havent.
