You never ran a partner 5000 plus either?  If not I will get the 20" I got drilled for poulans and husky small mount with 72dl chain for all the saws.  I think I have a 72dl woodsman pro chain new in the box to run (warning not the best cut out of the box type  sharp).

I'm all out of 500's, just the 550 that is going bye and 5000's now.

I've never ran a partner.
LMK when you want to do it?

Update I got the new ring for the 3750, but no time right now to play. Working 7 days a week to get some extra CHRISTmas $$$ and for another saw I want to put on the shelf too.  ;D ;)

New ring, and same blasted symptoms. Runs but not right and wont hold idle. Switched carb to like new one I just got in HDA 164. Same thing.
Starting to guess seals or maybe even the case seal has got a air leak into crankcase.

Good news is the hand guard on this 3750 works perfect on the JD 800 = echo 8000.  ;D  Plus found a good plain green clutch cover for it also.

On the shelf 3750 #3  goes till a much later date.

I recently got a 3450 that shows 60cc on the sticker. Not sure of the type, though there is a 03 at the end of the serial number.Saw was built in 2000. Any ideas as to Type?

Well she may be a ugly 1998 TA Bad Boy, but  at least now it runs and cuts good.

You can see where the crankcase and old clutch cover were grinded on to clear the bow saw that was run on it.   Couldn't imagine it 60cc  pulled that very well.  ::)

I should have known better, but I offered and left the old rebuilt 3750 behind other day.   Hoping to get some more run time on it to break it in.
Me and 660mag was cutting up some test wood one day and on the way home I stopped at a friends place to BS. Well while I was there his landlord ask me to muffler mod and sharpen his chains for his 310.
Well I exchanged saws and he said the poulan wasnt running right and had to be run on half choke.

So guys what does it do to a saw that is being used in cuts on ash run on half choke when not running right?

First thing I looked at after carb adjustments was IMPULSE line which had come off.  Put it back on it it seemed to run fine with 140psi. Still I want to know more. Took muffler off and some scoring on new ring hmmmm. So I pulled it down ad even found a small corner piece off the skirt on 1 exhaust corner missing.

To end all. Then noticed the tensioner bolt missing.

Nuff said on my part and LESSON learned if you dont know the chainsaw operators skill levels.

It ran good when we were using it.
