Looks good Aaron and I think the repair for the oil tank will hold fine.   I really like the 60cc series saws like this that Poulan makes.
The 380 I take it compares to a 3750.

Sounds good by the way and looks like it has good throttle response.

The PP380 is the gold cousin to the green 3750 like the PP330 is to the 3450.  This PP Super 380 has the 60cc Gilardoni top end as well as the HDA137 carb and the heavy duty 3 shoe clutch (instead of the 2-shoe on the PP330).

Found a poulan pro 380 60cc project saw.  Going to have a lot of catching up to do after the winter buys.  :P ::)

Said some issues. Cant remember them off hand.

But as I saw it getting it pics took yesterday.

The PP380 arrived today.  At one time it was a NY DOT saw and confirmed by the seller.  Engraved in foot plate area.

Quick look see. Seen blue rtv sealer for base gasket.  Impulse line ran through the cold air plug on right side of carb back area.   Some marks on piston top of ring.  All and all pleased but will need a good go through.

Sounds good.    That is the one saw in the 60cc range and of that particular Poulan design that I do not have.    They are around but just not a lot of them.    I think I have seen more Tim Allen 3750's than I have of the 380 super.

Roger I was only going to fix to sell local.   IF you want to do the fixing etc for your collection. Just let me know.

Missing some fasteners, muffler bolt but checked cylinder threads and they are there and good.

Wonder if it has 137 or 164 carb  :-\    Has mesh air filter.

I saw that also and had been watching.   You are right some stupid money there.    Heck I think I bought a Husky 272 in good working condition for that kind of money.   I mean I like my Poulans but not that much.

Looking at IPL for PP 380 only 137 was on list. So unless someone switched the carbs.  ;D
