Being I was just going to fix this PP380 up and resell to a firewood cutter.  Glad to see a member wants to restore it for his collection instead.

:D just noticed it had been shipped to me with about 1/4 tank of ole mix.  :o

Missing several fasteners on top cover, muffler bolt, carb base AF backing missing 1.  Notice the NYS DOT engrave in base of tank I noticed when it came to me.

Switched the muffler to the side exit for new owner.  Tried to call but dont know if the voice mail is your right #.  Just wanting to know if you want the short dawg like came on this or the longer dawg like on a 330?

Has the heavy duty 3 shoe clutch still. Never did check to see if it was the 137 carb. Should be unless changed.

David was selling off his poulan projects and I was really hoping someone else would buy them  ???.  I waited and I was hoping, butttttt
nobody seen it as the parts  lot that I did I guess.  :P

So it looks like I have a Poulan pro 380 330 365 project saws coming.   8)

Ha!  I held out long enough.  The 365 was calling me but I held fast.
-Aaron

For older saws:
Tune the H side so that it 4-strokes (burbles) at WOT unloaded and just cleans up when under load.
When you lift cutting load, the saw should immediately revert to 4-stroking.  Fine tune the transition point for the wood you're cutting.

I had missed a NOS yellow tank for $40. Wish I had bought it but went to sleep. When checked on it next day it was sold.

I just wanted another yellow tank in case I build a 365 with big carb intake with low tops again.  I want to do one in yellow and a 3500 with green tank same way.

Decisions decisions. I put a T-3 3450 60cc and a 380 60cc on the bench. Trying to decide which to do first.
Just want to compare to this muffler modded 034 036 62cc I finished up.

Putting together a PP380 today.  Didnt want to use any of the NOS topend kits. So I just cleaned up and used a NOS piston I had installed in the PP365 that had a scored cylinder in the past.  Some transfer had gotten on the piston during use over the couple years.  The 365 cylinder wasnt cleaned as I good as I thought I had it.   :'(
Put a new ring on.

I just used a used 380 cylinder I had on hand with parts saws. I used the drill and and ball hone to put a crosshatch on it.

Ran out of cylinder gaskets, so I used Dirko HT this time around instead of the Threebond 1194 1184 ( cant remember the # I have right now). 1104 1184 1194 all the same basically just the EPA keeps making them change the formula.

Put in some new rubber AV's etc and hope to hear it fire off soon.

Get a pic on the bench later. Just grabbing a break.
