Curious, what are you doing with those when your done?

Not a clue not needed around here for sure.
The T3 3450 60cc / 3750 I would sell. The 380 I wouldnt sell when done unless it was a friend local. Only because I am using back up cylinder and not perfect piston.  They understand what I do.
But I do have NOS topend kits that could make it right. But the NOS kits cost $.

Done. Test cut in some ash.

Now once I get some time on new ring and fresh crosshatching. I can compare to the 62cc closed port 036.  I had a 036 etc before but not when I had the 2 type saws at same time.
I know the 3750 open port 60cc I had ran right with the 262xp 62cc closed port I had. I preferred the poulan and my friend did too after cutting all day with both.

To the guy wanting to buy one. May I suggest this stock 3450 54cc 1 owner before I got it. Pulls 180psi stock. I bought it to put a NOS 60cc topend kit on it but cant do it to this one myself. It runs to good as is.

Cleaning that type 3 60cc today. I noticed the little piece missing again beside the muffler that had broken off.  Forgot about that over winter.

Forgot to add that couldnt use the 3 shoe clutch. Had 1 part of center section broke, 2 of the shoes had broke areas and the spring was pieced together.   ::) :D
So have the more common 2 shoe clutch on it.

The T3 saw 3 shoe clutch looks ok from my quick look today.

I have not had any luck over in my neck of the woods in trying to locate a 3450/3750 60cc/61cc version.  I can find a 3450BB 54cc but not one of those w/fins on top of cylinder.  What gives?  You seem to having them pouring out of the cracks everywhere over there.

If green T3 needs a home and no one local buys right away I be happy to have one.

IMO the 2 shoe is a less problematic way to go anyhow, there are more parts available.

Well to make it fair on a comparison of the 62cc stihl that is broke in and the 3750 60cc that is still on first tank.

3750 60cc is stock muffler modded, with base gasket in.  On first tank still. New ring and cyl hone etc.  Open port

034 036 62cc is stock, never paid attention if base gasket was in it. Never had to pull cylinder. Muffler modded.  Closed port

380 60cc has some work done in cylinder. Base gasket delete and muffler modded. On first tank still. New ring and cyl hone etc.  Open port

3450 54cc all stock. Nothing done as bought. 180 psi.  Broke in.  Open port

Will do some cuts in pine cant and ash log once some time on the 2 new rebuilds.  Was using the 380 yesterday on some limbs that came out of the trees when the tornado came through Mon nite.

Sometimes I just got to shake my head and laugh at my older self.
Setting up poulan 380 60cc with 24" 84dl 3/8 today. Well I grabbed a stock 330 54cc by mistake and started test cutting with the 24" full skip square filed chain in the cuts. Buried in dry ash log Eric Nicol  left me so you know how big.
Well I thought man this ported 60cc is maxed out. Then I looked at cylinder and went DOH!  I was doing this with a stock 54cc 330.
The 380 has a 330 recoil cover on it still too. But missing some bars.
Put 24" on 60cc and that was more like what I was expecting. No troubles with bar buried in cuts.
Pic to show difference in 54cc front and 60cc back for easy tel tell.
